Strategic Design Network, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated and talented games artist/web designer.

Applicant must have traditional 2D illustration and computer design skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Create stunning visuals for our online games
• Create fun and memorable characters. In 2D paintings, vector art, and 3D
• Design web elements such as vector icons
• Create high quality game titles
• Able to follow style guides
• Work quickly to meet the deadlines of multiple tasks simultaneously
• Produce high quality Flash projects

• Video editing knowledge, such as Adobe After Effects, is a plus

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

• BFA, or similar art degree

EXPERIENCE

• One year of professional work. (preferred, not necessary)
• Multiple examples of professional art work
• Taken at least one project/game through the pipeline, start to finish

QUALIFICATIONS

• Expertise in Photoshop
• Expertise in Illustrator
• Expertise in one 3D program, maya, zbrush, other
• Expertise in layout concepts
• Understanding of color theory
• Polished art and illustration skills
• Understanding of the game development process
• Familiarity with social media games
• Strong Problem solving skills
• Strong collaboration skills
• Highly self-motivated
